She received her BA from The American University of Paris with a dual degree in European Cultural Affairs and French Literature, she has lived in six different countries and speaks French and Spanish . She has traveled extensively since childhood and been exposed to a multi-cultural life from a young age. Combining her creative approach and corporate & marketing business know-how, Suzanne Aaronson, who is highly entrepreneurial, set up her London office as “The S Files Service” in 2001, providing friends and their friends with exclusive information on some of the best of the world’s niche lifestyle options, providing a personal quality lifestyle service for the affluent and discerning. At any given time, 200 individuals were accessing Suzanne’s accordion files and international network of contacts. She had been sourcing, uncovering and disseminating quality lifestyle information as a hobby since she was 21 years old. She has built an impressive “who’s who” of more than 50 international contributors who reside in countries all over the world. Many are in lifestyle-related businesses; others are friends and acquaintances - those with great taste she has met along her travels.
Suzanne combines a discerning sense for research and vetting with the service acumen of a private banker who well understands her client needs and tastes. Previous Experience
Aside from the brand and market expansion of The S Files from a private client service to a subscription based direct marketing e-platform, Suzanne has been intimately involved in every component of her business - the market research, business models, design elements, functionality and editorial voice of the Suzanne’s Files web service. Suzanne is also an avid fundraiser in contact with over 100 VCs.
Prior to her full-time engagement of her business, Suzanne was the VP of International Business Development at the New York and London offices of Winstar Communications (working for a #1 business website, ranked by Fortune magazine for 2000 and 2001) where she brought in revenues via sponsorships, affiliate deals, content syndication and white label site creation via banks, technology/service providers and trade associations. Before that, Suzanne was the Director of Strategic Development for the CBS New Media Division’s New York office, where she created a B2B horizontal “how to” website, television program & news radio segment and implemented synergistic programming between CBS Media platforms which increased the target audience to attract new advertisers, yielding an additional revenue. She brought the Office.com joint venture to CBS and moved to Winstar (owned office.com) to head up Biz Dev.
