Women & Wine: Interactive Resource & Signature Wine Experiences

I love the concept of Women & Wine, gals coming together around a common passion, vino! The founder, Julie Brosterman, is a dynamo I was introduced to via a friend who started her career in real estate and mortgage then followed her dream to start a company based on the premise that wine has traditionally been a man's world, but women make the predominance of purchases and simply need confidence to make good choices.

Julie has created a wine lifestyle company that is as widespread as her interests and talents—bespoke wine trips, interactive online community, radio show, members club, wine concierge and chic retailer, event organizer, and blogger—all based around offering women a better way to understand, appreciate and enjoy wine!

Membership is free: you can register to post your own wine stories on the site and access benefits like "Reading Glasses," a creative concept where Women & Wine's experts custom pair wines to the books being read in your book club; what fun! Women & Wine also owns Wine Valet at Two Rodeo Drive, a stylish wine store in Los Angeles specializing in small boutique producers.

The insider wine trips designed by Julie and her team, such as the Burgundy Bootcamp being held this May 3rd through 9th at the beautiful home of Becky Wasserman—regarded as the Julia Child of wine—in Bouilland, France (pictured here). Walk in vineyards and taste in the cellars of Burgundy's best winemakers such as Cote de Beaune and Cote de Nuits.
