BEWARE: Riad el Fenn Hotel in Morocco

I'd bet the reason Riad el Fenn gets press is because the owner is Richard's Branson's relative. Don't believe the hype. There are a handful of stunning, well-serviced riads in which to stay—this one lacks atmosphere and good vibe, both aspects very much a part of the riad experience. The scruffy style may get vamped up at the Annual Art and Culture festival where the owner does well gathering some great names and personalities. Outside of that—skip it.
