The wrap-around terrace on the reception floor and the Provencal cafe add to the villa vibe. It’s everything you would expect from one of the biggest names in the biz, plus one pleasant surprise: possibly the nicest, most attitude-free staff around.” (City Search review - I simply cannot say it any better!) If you have not experienced Fekkai - jump in. $295 for cut. Glowing Facial & Perfect Eyebrows

vaishaly.jpgVaishaly
51 Paddington Street
London W1, UK

Vaishaly’s signature facial is quite frankly, the best facial I’ve ever had (and you’re hearing from a gal who ‘facials’ religiously) While every facial is different, her magic hands incorporate deep-cleansing, gentle but effective extraction, skin-polishing, microdermabrasion and a treatment mask. Your skin will feel glowing and rejuvenated - I have really seen the difference first-hand. To keep up the good work purchase her wonderful and fab looking packaged products to take home… No abrasive ingredients within enable the skin to breathe, and to reduce the risk of any irritation or reaction for those with more sensitive complexions. Once you’ve had a Vailshaly facial, you’ll be a tough judge of others… This being said, the facial is also amongst the most expensive out there… starting at £120. She is known as the threader extraordinaire - eyebrow shaping can literally change your face!

NYC Spaaaaah

mandarin.jpgMandarin Oriental Spa
Columbus Circle (Time Warner Center)
NYC, NY

What feels like you are riding to the sky on the elevator, you step off (35th floor) and turn left to enter their oh-my-wowsers over the top 14,500 sq. ft. spa-extraordinaire. (yup, I was impressed) I was lucky enough to have experienced the ‘Time Ritual’ treatment, a 2 1/2 hour session with Jessica (tops) who custom-designed the treatment as per my needs and taste. She mixed different styles of massage, scrubs, masks, stretching, steaming, wrapping…it was endless bliss that unfortunately had to come to an end! The next day I returned to swim laps in their 75 ft. slick pool over-looking the city and then shopped in the enormous Whole Foods Market downstairs. As you can see, I rate this place: Fabulous. Open 7 days a week 9am-9pm. Let’s just say, expensive…
