Villa Marina Hotel & Spa is an interesting, newly remodeled contemporary hotel in Marina Grande, the main port of Capri. I say “interesting” because the space and layout is uncommon, but works for those who are looking to be essentially right on top of the sea in Capri. The 21 guest rooms are large and each has sea views with private patios. My insider says, "In my view, having recently stayed, it is an acceptable choice for those looking to be near Marina Grande, the main port of Capri. The hotel offers a small pool and sun deck, a restaurant, room service and spa. Although a bit dark, the rooms open up to large private patios, a nice place to read in the early morning light and sip a well-made cappuccino. I think they could have chosen higher quality furniture and linens, and the bathroom although large enough, did not provide any counter space or towel bars. The atmosphere at night takes on a lovely feeling with lighted candles and views of the harbor." Room rates from €500. |
