Located at Siracusa on the south-east coast of the island, Villa San Tommaso is set on a rise, has lovely views of the surrounding countryside, an amazing semi-tropical garden and large swimming pool, and a very stylish interior. "It’s peaceful and in the perfect position to explore Siracusa and the south coast," says my Insider. "With three bedrooms, it’s big enough for a couple with kids or three couples, although I’d love to be able to spend a romantic and relaxing week there just with my husband!" The villa accommodations are on two levels: a large living, dining and kitchen area on the ground floor with one double bedroom and en suite bathroom, with another living area on a mezzanine level and two more bedrooms and bathrooms on the upper level. All of the rooms are tastefully furnished. The outdoor areas include a terrace, which has a large shaded dining table and sweeping views of the garden and beyond, and a large pool set in beautifully manicured gardens … very private and secluded … you won’t be disturbed by anyone. Prices from €4,720 (about $6,700) per week.
