The Galapagos itinerary takes you small-ship cruising on board National Geographic Endeavour or National Geographic Islander, with top-notch naturalists and experienced crews bringing you up close and personal with remarkable wildlife―giant tortoises, marine iguanas, penguins, seals, rays and vast colonies of birds―a David Attenborough documentary come to life. Both ships offer 10-day itineraries, or 16 days with the added Peru extension, and convenient Friday or Saturday departures virtually year-round.
 
The Costa Rica expeditions are on board National Geographic Sea Lion, and include neighboring Panama with the chance to transit the iconic Panama Canal … along the way you’ll see tropical rainforests, diverse wildlife, remote coastlines, magnificent mountains and volcanoes. At Panama’s renowned Isla Coiba, you’ll observe coral reefs teeming with fish, and idyllic waters perfect for snorkeling, kayaking and swimming. Three itineraries on offer (January-March and December) lasting 8, 11 or 15 days.
