This 120-year-old colonial Spanish farmhouse is not only fit for A-listers, it’s owned by them. Hollywood actor Robert Duvall and Luciana, his Argentine wife, have lovingly kitted the place out with antiques, four-poster beds and fluffy duvets. The seven Double Suite bedrooms are tight on space, but cute, filled with roses and jasmine from the farm’s private gardens prior to your arrival. The layout is a little unconventional and intimate (remember this was a private home), so be prepared to mingle! Escape to the spa; very tranquil and they serve a yummy home-made detoxifying herbal drink before and after your treatments. The chef uses local ingredients to create healthy meals served on the patio overlooking 300 acres of lush gardens, which you can explore on foot or horseback.
