Cooking adventurously is great fun, but often means you’re left with a shelf of exotic spices that lose their flavour before long. “Carda-moms”, Katie and Sara, have found a simple solution: sealing the spices in 1-teaspoon packets for you to use as and when you need them- you’ll never have to worry about bland food again! My favorites: the Sweet Heat Blend (Ancho chile pepper and cinnamon) and Savoir Faire (marjoram and sage). The packets are stored in great looking tins which look fab displayed on a worktop (great if you’re short on cupboard space!) making them the perfect gift for all your foodie friends. Spices are available either individually or in boxed sets- ideal for creative types who want to try their hand at self-blending.
