Tokyo, Japan

According to my art savvy friends, Japanese contemporary art is hot, hot, hot…. so what better time to visit Tokyo and get the 411 on the art scene? This private, 3 day tour is organised by nonaca k.k., a Tokyo-based experiential art consultancy and Bespoke Tokyo (the Tokyo fixers). Just six participants will be guided through two-dozen leading Tokyo galleries showcasing contemporary artists such as Akira, whose works (pictured) were snapped up at a recent private event held by nonaca in Tokyo. In the evenings, exclusive parties at discreet venues will provide the chance to meet with artists, gallery owners, curators, collectors and journalists. Participation is limited to six people, who will be accommodated at a five-star hotel in the center of Tokyo. If you want to stay for a little longer and explore the city- Bespoke Tokyo can arrange that too! Prices start from US$6,900, including four nights’ accommodation, luxury airport transfers, meals at some of the city’s best restaurants, transportation to and between galleries, admission costs and events.
