A local favorite- always packed, always buzzing; go for dinner and the outstanding Martinis. Wonderful place to celebrate with friends- you’ll feel like you’re at a sophisticated Hamptons house party. Expect delicious contemporary American cuisine; try the succulent roast Long Island duckling with wild rice, toasted almonds and blackberry sauce. But don’t forget to save room for dessert- the profiteroles with vanilla ice cream and bittersweet chocolate are to die for…

The Beacon, East Hampton
The perfect spot to enjoy gorgeous Sag Harbor Cove sunsets. Executive chef Sam McCleland’s creative fare is a real palette pleaser. Summery flavors are the order of the day; warm weather favorites include “Beacon Style” steamed muscles guava baby back ribs with grilled asparagus and potato hash and the sautéed local flounder with Yukon mashed potatoes. The surroundings, like the food are relaxed and understated. The epitome of Hamptons summer living. 11963

Nick & Toni’s, East Hampton
One of the most sought-after seats in East Hamptons. Chef Joe Realmuto serves up creative Mediterranean country food. The menu changes seasonally, often using produce grown in Nick & Toni’s organic garden. Try one of their woodburning oven specials, such as the whole fish or inventive pizzas like the “Cozze,” topped with Prince Edward mussels, white bean puree and sweet onions. A favorite with local celebrities- book well ahead.

Sant Ambroeus, Southampton
Very Italian (Milanese to be exact), great spot for every foodie desire: great morning coffee, delish cooling home made sorbets or go post beach have a panini and a glass of wine at the bar. There are also tables out back if you want to sit and have a proper meal, the food is outstanding (on the very expensive side) but delicious. Or go before the beach for the chicest sandwiches to take away. A real find.
