zermatt.jpgSwiss Chalet, Bahnhofstrasse
For a true chalet-chic experience look no further than this little gem. Feast on traditional swiss fondue and raclette cheese specialties. A real winter warmer!

Zum See, nr Furi
Probably the most highly acclaimed restaurant in the Alps…lives up to the hype. Owners Maz and Greti Mennig serve their own home-grown vegetables and hand-churned berry ice cream.

Alexandre, Riffelalp Resort
This sky-high restaurant specialises in scrumptious homemade pasta. A wonderful place for a special date- watch the sun set on the Matterhorn as you dine.

Elsie’s Bar, Kirchplatz
The classic rendevouz for Champagne and oysters. Sit in the pretty church square, listen to the Marmot Fountain and watch the world go by…

Le Gitan, Bahnhofstrasse
The best grill-restaurant in town. The spit roasted chicken tarragon is mouth-wateringly good. Co-owners Barbi and Sacha are such a cool fun and super friendly couple! No reservations taken but worth the wait for that champagne fondue…

great to read about zermatt - but you have to mention Le Gitan - it is the village best grill-restaurent. Barbi and Sacha are such a cool fun and super friendly couple!!! Further you should look into Chez Fritz - before Desert Dan Danielle gives you a short show with his songs and a slight show of zermatt! If i can help you with further input from zermatt please let me know!
