The sublime products of this talented young chocolatier-patissier (named World Champion of Patisserie in 1995) were, quite simply, as good as chocolate gets. The quality has gone down a bit in recent years, but I still love Marcolini and think they look gorgeous as a gift. His shops are considered “so glamourous that they feel like jewellery boutiques.” You can also find his signature monogrammed chocolates which he makes only for special occasions along with wafer-thin chocolates with delicately soft centres, truffles, and of course superb pralines.
