…or at the least her ladies in waiting. The staff at this oldie but goodie average 18 years working there (3 of them have been there 40+ years!) Nan Kempner, la reine de l’haute couture, came daily when in London - and the Queen’s ladies in waiting frequent. Eqvvs is one of the last bastions to do “up dressings”, just one of the reasons the country’s aristocracy will always return. They are a lovely family, clients and staff. Caroline, my manicurist extraordinaire told me sometimes their clients stop by just to chat and have a coffee. Generation after generation. Open early from 8am.
